Memberships

We have a range of memberships available to suit all pockets. All of our memberships include exercise classes and facilities at no extra cost and with no hidden charges. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Craven Swimming Pool & Fitness Centre has joined Active Network. This allows our Loyalty, Freedom and Access Members to go to a total of 21 Leisure Centres across the network from The lakes, to Craven and over to Blackburn. Click here for further details

Loyalty

Minimum 12 month agreement, this membership will automatically roll on after the minimum period. This membership is discounted if bought online.

Includes Fitness centre, Swimming, various exercise classes and sauna & steam room access.

 


Freedom (our month to month membership, with no commitments)

Our new month to month membership, this allows customers to either pay cash or have a month to month direct debit. This allows customers to stop paying after serving a minimum of 30 days.

Includes Fitness centre, Swimming, various exercise classes and sauna & steam room access.

This membership is discounted if bought online.

 


Access (Concessionary Membership)*

Our 3 month minimum agreement, for those customers in receipt of benefits (http://www.cravendc.gov.uk/discounts)

Includes Fitness centre, Swimming, various exercise classes and sauna & steam room access.

 


Swim Only

Minimum 12 month agreement, for the Pool and Health Suite

 


Access Swim only (Concessionary Membership)*

Corporate Memberships - available from only £35 per month

Two payment methods, either by direct debit or by monthly invoice. You choose the option that works best for your business.

1 - Sign up 10-24 employees and receive a minimum 10% annual discount

2 - Sign up 25+ employees and receive a minimum 20% annual discount

Corporate membership discount is based on savings on our 12-month full package membership which includes:

  • Gym (free induction and programmes)
  • Swim during general and lane swim
  • Studio Classes
  • Hydro Classes
  • Spin Cycle classes
  • Sauna/Steam

Important notes:

New companies need to have a minimum of 10+ employees to qualify for corporate and 20+ employees for Corporate Gold.

Memberships are all based on a minimum 12 months rolling agreement.

Memberships continue on a rolling month to month basis once the minimum agreement has been completed.

30 days' notice required to cancel once the minimum agreement has been met.

IMPORTANT NOTES! - UPDATED T&C's

We only accept email requests to cancel any type of membership, you cannot cancel at reception (verbal or in writing). You can access the cancellation email by clicking here.

1) All members that are under 18 years old must have parental consent before joining on any membership.

2) All of our memberships have a minimum commitment. After the minimum period each membership continues. Customers must give 30 days notice to cancel (via email).

NB: once you have completed your online or paper membership form, your first direct debit will include a pro-rota payment, in effect pay a proportion of your first month within your first direct debit. This is shown to you before you commit to anything. If you sign up at the centre we will ask you for a pro-rota payment (at the till) this will take you to your first regular direct debit.

3) All memberships are live the moment that you sign the agreement or hit the 'submit' button online. Customers do not have to wait until their first direct debit leaves their account before using the facilities.

4) Naturally, we are always disappointed when a customer decides to leave us. We would ask that all customers try to let us resolve this first so that we can retain you. However, subject to the minimum terms being honoured you can click here to send an e-mail requesting that you cancel. We ask that you do not cancel any direct debit until you have heard from us in writing confirming your request. We will always respond to any customer request.

5) Did you know that we can offer to freeze memberships for customers? We use this facility for customers that have certain medical conditions or if personal circumstances change.
