Road cycling routes

Cycling in Burnsall
Road cyclists
can enjoy routes along lanes and minor roads.
As part of the Tour de France Cycle Legacy work Craven District Council has produced a series of Recreational Ride guides that are FREE to download and use.  These are for novice cyclists, family rides, rusty cyclists and give full details of the route, a map of the route, way point details, local attractions, cafe's and pubs on route, bike shops and any hazards to be aware off

There are over 20 routes in the guides ranging from 5 to 15miles.  They are graded from Easy, Moderate to Dificult.  A couple of the rides have some short off road sections, which would require you to have suitable tyres i.e. not road racing tyres.
